What a year to be a Longhorn! If it feels like the last few months of the school year passed by in a blur, that’s because spring was absolutely packed with milestones, medals, and memories. From the stage to the stadium, our students gave their all to close out the 2025–2026 school year on the highest note possible.
Our arts programs took center stage this spring, proving that Longhorn talent is stronger than ever. Our musicians and vocalists filled the gym with incredible harmony during the final concerts of the year. The dedication of our band and choir students was on full display, earning standing ovations from proud families and staff alike.
A major highlight of the spring was welcoming acclaimed author and illustrator Melissa Iwai to our school! Students had the unique opportunity to learn about the creative process behind her books, sparking fresh artistic inspiration across all grade levels. Thanks again to Ms. Dunaway for making that opportunity possible.
On the academic and athletic fronts, our students proved they know how to compete at the highest levels, bringing home well-deserved recognition. Our annual banquets honored the best and brightest. From academic honors and leadership award winners to our MVP athletes, the trophy cases are officially overflowing after a stellar year of dedication.
The Longhorn journalism team advanced to the State Journalism competition, showcasing their elite skills in writing, photography, and design against the best in the state.
Our runners and throwers pushed through grueling competition to clock personal bests and represent the Longhorns with pride on the big stage.
Spring also brought the traditions that define the high school experience—and they did not disappoint. High school students traded their school spirit wear for formal gowns and sharp suits for an unforgettable evening of dancing, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
In the ultimate culmination of years of hard work, our seniors walked across the stage to accept their diplomas. There were tears, cheers, and plenty of confetti. Congratulations to our newest alumni—go out there and show the world what we know you’re capable of!
While the school doors are closed for the season, the momentum doesn't stop. A busy summer break is already underway, filled with camps, summer jobs, family vacations, and much-needed rest.
Take this time to recharge your batteries, Longhorns—because before you know it, the hallways will be buzzing again. We are already looking forward to the next school year and can't wait to see what new heights we'll reach together in the fall.
